March Madness

Apart from eating boxes there are quite a few things that have happened in the last couple weeks. I have spent a good few hours eating dirt, grass, leaves and moss from the backyard. Or I would have if there hadn't been some pesky adults taking stuff out of my mouth.
Just this weekend, took a trip to see the Moonah Festival. Mildly impressed. The best bit was getting a balloon to play with. There were blue ones also, but we couldn't find the person giving those ones out.

Apart from that, been trying to stand by myself. Record is around 15 seconds.

Finally!

Sorry about the paucity of updates recently. Just too much happening. Even this is going to be short. After much wriggling, wrangling and worry here it is... a toothy grin. It should be noted that there are two teeth growing in that there gum. Both started to show within a couple day's of each other.

So how many do you do? I just had 2 weetbix and 5 cubes of apple with some cruskits.

A whole lotta firsts happening here...

But this is to be expected. Something about new experiences, early stages of life, learning everything for the first time. Something new and momentous this time. Long anticipated, baited breath and all that... even though it can't be seen very easily, it is definitely there. I'm getting a tooth! Soon a whole new world of food will open. Since there is currently no photographic evidence of a tooth, here is a nice pic of me ready for bed, but having just one last giggle.

It had to happen eventually

My first cold. I've had two bad nights sleep, next to zero appetite, an almost constant thirst, sneezes and sniffles. It's taken nearly 9 months to get the first. So many more still to come. Apparently, within the first year most babies have between 4 and 10 colds. Seems like I will be sick for the next 3 months if I want to make my quota.

Foxy Baby.. dun dun Daa.. dun dun Daa

Life has been getting busier. The routine hasn't changed much. But all this going out to do things get's me all tuckered out. It seems like every day I get a new outfit to try. One for the vege shop, one for the library and one for mucking around at home. Just don't know which I like more.

Some are not appropriate for a formal dinner. Regardless they all get the same treatment - buckets of drool, food and bits of carpet fluff all mixed together in an almost artistic fashion.

One more thing - if you ever get the chance, there is an amazing show on TV that is sure to thrill, excite and entertain. It's called the Octonauts. If only they had a DVD out. Check it!

New Month, New Club

Well not a club exactly, but I do have a library card. We took a trip down to the local LINC (not sure what that means, but they don't call it a library anymore). Had a crawl around on some pretty comfy rugs, pulled books of the shelf, entertained an older lady with my wit, charm and drool (she was 18, months).
The other exciting thing was getting to meet Marg's new cat Peppy. The name sounds familiar, but that's where the comparisons should stop. This is one completely different kitty. This is about as close as she would get...

But at least my arm is much better. Good enough to ignore my toys and play with the cat toy instead.
