Week 8

Well I have made yet another milestone. 8 weeks old and the novelty still hasn't worn off. Had the last of the MCH check-up's for a couple months. All going well.
Another new thing was the first round of my many vaccinations. I had two injections this morning, one in each thigh, and 2ml's of another vaccine. I impressed the nurse with my sucking skills. The last baby took 2mins to take the dose, I chomped it down in a few seconds. It was kinda fun to be in a room filled with so many other little people.

The other exciting news is the new skill i seem to have developed. After the big walk to the community clinic, to the shops and then home again. I was sitting in my bouncer flapping my arms at dad, when I pulled out the new trick - i smiled! This wasn't simply a "i'm about to poop" grimace/smile. it was a eyes wide open, happy looking big toothless grin. I did this a few times. Enough so that both Mum and dad got at least one smile each. Not really sure why, but they both started to cry. Maybe the whole smiling thing is overrated. Anyway, time for a feed then some sleep... so long as my sore legs don't keep me awake.
